Marketing, B.S.
The B.S. in Marketing program provides students with essential skills and knowledge about important aspects of marketing and sales, such as advertising strategies, brand management, consumer behavior, personal selling and sales management, market research, and analytics, and helps them develop cutting-edge skills in digital and social media marketing. First-hand experiences and real-world examples throughout coursework show students how to apply these basics into creative campaigns that get results, while exposing students to the benefits and flexibility of a career in marketing.
The B.S. in Marketing is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
The marketing program fully aligns with the learning objectives of the business core. In addition, upon successful completion of the marketing program, students will have given evidence of the following outcomes and goals:

Demonstrate the ability to apply the concepts of the marketing mix, segmentation, targeting, positioning, and differentiation as keys to marketing strategy.

Describe the major types of consumer buying behavior and the stages and psychological influences in the buyer decision-making process.

Identify the roles of traditional as well as modern technology-driven advertising, sales promotion, public relations, and direct marketing in integrated marketing communications.

Collect, analyze, and report survey data for marketing research.
To earn this degree, students must successfully complete at least 120 credits, including General Education requirements and the major requirements below.
