Advanced Admission to Integrative Health, M.A.
The Department of Integrative Health and Exercise Science offers select GCU students the opportunity to apply for advanced admission to the Master of Arts in Integrative Health program after completing 75 credits and at least three-fourths of the credits required for their major. For acceptance, students must:
- Complete an Advanced Admission to the M.A. in IH Application.
- Have an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Provide three letters of recommendation, including at least one from a GCU Integrative Health faculty member attesting to the ability of the student to succeed in the program.
- Complete an admission interview with the M.A. in Integrative Health program director.
Students meeting the above criteria will be accepted into the M.A. in IH program and may take as many as four graduate-level Integrative Health courses (12 credits) upon completing 90 undergraduate credits; that is while they are still undergraduate students. While acceptance into the M.A. in IH program is assured, that acceptance is deferred until the undergraduate degree is conferred. The graduate level Integrative Health courses selected while the student is still an undergraduate should be taken after the appropriate undergraduate course is completed. The Advanced Admission to the M.A. in Integrative Health program requires students to complete all the undergraduate and graduate degree requirements and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
