Politics, Law & History, Minor
The interdisciplinary minor in Politics, Law, and History offers students an opportunity to learn about America’s political system, constitutional/legal principles, and modern history from multiple perspectives and disciplines. The program will sharpen students’ writing, research, and critical thinking skills. It will prepare students for graduate school; for active citizenship and the pursuit of social justice and social welfare; and for careers in teaching, law, business, government, international relations, public service, and communications.
A minimum of 18 credits is required for the Politics, Law, and History minor. At least half of the required courses must be taken at Georgian Court University. Courses at the 300 level and higher cannot count toward both a student’s major and the Politics, Law, and History minor (except that Criminal Justice majors may count two criminal justice courses toward the major). For more information or approval of a course that is not currently listed, contact Dr. Scott H. Bennett.
