Health Communication, Minor
This minor prepares students to effectively communicate health-related information and promote public understanding of health issues across diverse populations. Students will gain skills in crafting clear, culturally competent, and ethically sound messages for a variety of audiences and media platforms. The Health Communication minor incorporates interdisciplinary approaches to equip students with the knowledge to design and implement strategies in a healthcare setting.
Minor Sequence
This concentration is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. Some courses in the concentration are taught by GCU faculty members. Other courses in the concentration are taught by faculty members employed by partner institutions in the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education. Oversight of courses offered through the consortium is reviewed and approved by Georgian Court University. Students register through Georgian Court University and receive academic credit from Georgian Court University.
