Finance, B.S.
The B.S. in Finance is a comprehensive program of today’s financial service industry. The program familiarizes students with financial management, financial markets and institutions, investment analysis, and global economics within the context of a corporate backdrop. Students will develop their quantitative and technical skills using financial software and will go beyond that into the bigger picture—leveraging fiscal concepts and strategies to run profitable, transparent, and compliant businesses and organizations.
The B.S. in Finance program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
The finance program fully aligns with the learning objectives of the business core. In addition, upon successful completion of the finance program, students will have given evidence of the following outcomes and goals:

Understand utility maximizing choices, trade-offs, and opportunity costs involved in such choices.

Analyze various financial statements and risk-return relationships using different techniques and tools.

Demonstrate the ability to analyze, interpret, and present financial and economic data.

Understand and analyze the global interactions of financial markets and instruments.
To earn this degree, students must successfully complete at least 120 credits, including General Education requirements and the major requirements below.
